Downpatrick Head - Sea Stack
Waves crash against the Sea Stack at Downpatrick Head in Co Mayo, Ireland. They are relentless, creating hollows of water that are immideatly backfilled with more huge waves off the Atlantic. However between the deep blue and green colours created by the waves and the wind carving shaped into the surface it creates some breathtaking views.
This abstract photograph of waves crashing against some coastal cliffs created some really interesting patterns when frozen at high shutter speeds. I love the green running through the image in contrast with the white of the spray.
